Casino Show update!
January 16, 2010

We know there's been a lot of interest in when our next Casinos of Winnipeg show is going to take place so we thought we'd give you an update. Originally, we were looking at a February 9th or 10th (2010) show, however, our show got pushed back a little to sometime this spring. We are still not sure when it will be exactly, but rest assured, we will let you know as soon as we have things confirmed at our end! We're looking forward to it and to seeing you all again!

Happy New Year!
January, 9, 2010

Well, hello one & all! Hope 2010 finds you all as happy & healthy as we are! I'd like to take a moment to reflect on some of the main events that took place for InCLINEation in 2009. We started the New Year off to a fantastic start with a 'fun'tastic evening with the Lions Club at their National Convention at the Delta Hotel here in Winnipeg. Then in February, we were back on the Club Regent Casino stage for our 16th mainstage performance. For as many times as we've performed our show for the Casinos of Winnipeg, we are still in awe of the incredible staff and the awesome turn out we get there each and every time! In March, we headed out to Rural Manitoba for a show in Miami. The 'roots' of InCLINEation lie within the small town halls of rural Manitoba and we are always happy to return to them. Also in March, we performed at a benefit for the family of the late Jimmy Mills of the Ink Spots. In April, we performed a very memorable show at Michelle's very own parish of Mary Mother of the Church. She still gets chills when she remembers the feeling it gave her when she sang the gospel number "Just a Closer Walk With Thee" on the alter of her church. Skipping to July, we ended up in Melfort, Saskatchewan where a turn of unfortunate events (a horrible lightning/thunder storm) developed and we had to shut it down after the first set before we all got electrocuted. Also, this event saw the official departure of our drummer, Bill Stewart, from the band as he heads down south for the winters with his wife, Marj, to enjoy their much deserved retirement years with their new "rig". We wish him well and will miss him and his unique percussion talent that brought so much to our show. Now, in steps Mr. Dan Deurbrouck to fill that void. He's an incredible drummer and so enthusiastic to be joining our group. Welcome to our 'band family' Dan! In August, we finally released our much anticipated second CD! We are planning to have a few samples of the recordings on our website in the near future, so stay tuned. If you'd like a copy, just send a note to Michelle on this website and she'll be happy to provide you with one! Moving on to September, we performed our show in another beautiful Winnipeg church, St. Bernadette's Parish. We are thoroughly enjoying the amazing acoustics and the incredible hospitality the churches have and we hope to have more of them in the future. 8 1/2 years, that's how long we have been performing our show for all of you! Where has the time went? What's in store for InCLINEation? Well, let's say it this way...for as long as you want us around, we'll be there for you! We are very fortunate to have been bringing you Patsy Cline's timeless music for so long and are in awe of how many people have come back over and over again. We thank you all for your past and present support. See you in 2010. Make sure to have a peek at our upcoming show link and feel free to browse the rest of our site. Also, drop us a line, we always love hearing from you!

Happy New Year!
January, 17, 2009

Here's to a happy, healthy 2009! Sorry it's been a while since we last talked...much has happened since then. I'll fill you in! In July, we had a wonderful time at the Carman Country Fair again. Thanks to the Dufferin Agricultural Society for being such great hosts. We always have a super time in Carman. In August we spent a beautiful evening with 3000 of our closest friends at the Lyric Theatre at Assiniboine Park in Winnipeg. What a great night that was. A special thanks to Marcel Lafond who helped set the mood with his '57 Ford Fairlane. Thank you to all who came out to enjoy a warm, perfect evening with us! In September, we headed out to the Elkhorn Ranch to do a private show for Manitoba Hydro. We enjoyed a very lively group of people and super hospitality! In October we were very honored to be part of a charity evening for a local man who has cancer and is undergoing intense treatments in the U.S. We also performed at the Starbuck Community Hall for the 3rd time to a very appreciative audience. We look forward to seeing you soon at one of our upcoming shows. It never ceases to amaze us, after 7 years, how many people keep coming back to see our show 3, 4, 5, or more times. Thanks for the ongoing support of our loyal fans and to all the new friends we made over the years. See you soon!

Dryden, we love you! InClineation's first show in Ontario couldn't have gone better. Super responsive crowd and a great facility. Special thanks to Stan Pollock who helped raise $5000 for the local CT Scan fund. We look forward to a return visit.

With apologies to Winkler...
June 3, 2008

We regret that we had to postpone the show in Winkler this coming weekend until later this fall. We hope our new date works out better for everyone.

Back 40 Folk Fest

If you've never been to the Morden Back 40 Folk Fest, add it to your bucket list! Great entertainment in a beautiful, intimate setting. Thanks to all the volunteers.

Inglis Manitoba
May 11, 2008

Great, warm audience in Inglis, MB last night. It's great to see how the town is preserving the prairie skyline with the grain elevator museum. Awesome sight.

Michelle on CBC Radio
April 22, 2008

Michelle was interviewed on the CBC Radio North show Trail's End by Norbert Poitras. Norbert played a song from the InClineation CD plus a James Portley (of the Portley Brothers) tune titled "I'm Movin' On" that InClineation recorded in 2005.

Love to: Saskatchewan, Sincerely: InClineation
February 5, 2008

WOW! We l-u-u-v-v playing in Saskatchewan!! In spite of it being about 300 below from the time we left Winnipeg until the time we returned, we were greeted with sell-out or near sell-out crowds of great Patsy Cline fans at each of the casinos in Saskatoon, Regina, and Moose Jaw. This was our first opportunity to play the Dakota Dunes Casino just outside of Saskatoon and we can’t wait to return! Their hospitality was great! Casino Regina and Casino Moose Jaw treated us like kings (and a queen) as usual. Holy Moly…those pillow top mattresses at the Bessborough in Saskatoon and Delta Regina didn’t want to let go in the morning. Talk about Sweet Dreams!

And it was great to meet Jim Hopson, president of the Grey Cup champion Roughriders. After the Regina show, Jim sought out the Portley Brothers to find out if they were long lost brothers. Well, we think they just might be, so maybe next time we’re in Regina, maybe we’ll be able to get Jim on-stage with us to see if he’s got the talent as well as the looks!

Now, while you’re here, check out our upcoming shows tab to see where you can catch us in Manitoba!

Welcome to the InClineation Website
January 18, 2008

We’re proud to announce the birth of our website! It doesn’t weigh very much and it’s only about the size of the computer screen you’re looking at! Proud parents include the members of InCLINEation and website designer, Cory Falvo. Thanks Cory for all your skills and hard work!

And thank you for visiting our new website, where you’ll be able to get to know us, listen to a few songs, watch our promo video, read some comments from people who have seen the show, see where we’ve played since 2001, and, most importantly, find out where we’re playing next-- where we look forward to seeing you!

As this is an interactive website, we invite you to sign up to receive e-mail updates about upcoming shows. Once you’ve been to one of our shows, we invite you to click on the comments tab above and send us an e-mail to let us know how you liked it! And if you’ve already been to a show, we’d appreciate hearing from you.

This week, we’re getting geared up for a short mini-tour in Saskatchewan, where we’re playing at the brand new Dakota Dunes Casino in Saskatoon on Thursday January 31, at Saskatchewan’s top tourism draw, Casino Regina the following night, and at the historic Mae Wilson Theatre in Moose Jaw on Saturday evening, February 2 . We love taking the show on the road, and look forward to revisiting our Saskatchewan fans (even though the Grey Cup is one province west of where we would have liked it to be! But hats off to Rider fans. You’re the best!)

If you’ve seen us in Manitoba and have friends or family in Saskatchewan, please let them know we’re coming, and ask them to introduce themselves after the show. We’d love to meet them.

Sweet dreams everyone,

InCLINEation
